the possible exception of federal programs, project directors
(PDs) should wait to contact potential funding sources until the
Blue Form has been approved and they have met with the Director
of Academic Research and Sponsored Projects. Generally, the Director
has information about a great many funding opportunities and programs
that would be good matches for those special projects.
