Proposal preparation is a collaborative effort between the grant seeker and the Director of Academic Research and Sponsored Projects. The following are the basic components of any proposal:

bullet Institutional history (pdf or word)
bullet Statement of need
bullet Project narrative
bullet Project goals
bullet Evaluation
bullet

Budget Manual

Federal, state, and private foundation guidelines may differ, but essentially, the information required will include all of these components in some form.

There are two versions of the institutional history available.

Current institutional information for the academic year can be accessed at St. Mary's Office of Planning and Research.

You can get current university budget regulations for grants by clicking on the link Budget Manual.
